
Our Story
When one of Global Trade Review’s clients needed help with the design of an advert, GTR’s in-house design team stepped in to help. The client was happy, and that job turned into a stream of other creative projects. It wasn’t long before other companies started asking us to help them too - and so, Studio GTR was born. A small and nimble design studio, borne to serve the world of trade and trade finance, backed by - and part of - the sector’s leading news, publishing and events provider.
Over the years, clients began asking for services beyond the traditional remit of ‘design’ – and so copywriting, illustration, content commissioning and print management services started to become part of our core offering. And as we grew - and our clients pushed us to help them even further - we added motion design and marketing services to that mix, broadening our capabilities and proposition even more. By then, we were serving clients from further afield – including private banks, fintechs and non-bank financiers – but still with roots in the world of trade.
Today we are a team of creative thinkers and doers spread across the UK and Europe, offering our clients more possibilities than ever.
